Having graduated in Marketing from ESPM and in Law from Universidade Estácio de Sá, in Rio de Janeiro, he has been an Industrial Property Agent since 1996. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property (ABPI); International Trademark Association (INTA), Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), and Association of Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF). With a post-graduation degree in Digital Law, he was a professor of Intellectual Property at Ibmec-RJ and Estação Business School in Curitiba. He gave lectures at several organizations such as the Brazilian Association of Advertisers (ABA), SEBRAE, and others. Regarded as one of the foremost lawyers in the area by World Trademark Review, Who’s Who Legal, and Client Choice – Lexology. He works in the areas of trademarks, patents, software and copyright, franchising; technology transfer and technical service contracts, and domain names. Languages: Portuguese and English.
